The Real Estate Council was founded in 1983 when John M. Corcoran �48 approached then-president of Boston College, J. Donald Monan, S.J., to start a unique council of Boston College alumni who were involved in real estate.
John and his brother Joseph E. Corcoran �59, H�09 worked together to develop a council that seeks to advance the professional goals of the community it serves while deepening its ongoing relationship and support of Boston College.
