Each time we proclaim the Creed, we profess belief in 渙ne, holy, catholic and apostolic church.� 聽Those adjectives can be problematic, but 渃atholic� is perhaps especially so. 聽This lecture explores the meaning of the Church catholicity, including the claim that it makes on all Christians. It focuses on the challenge of achieving catholicity today and the particular issues it raises for Roman Catholics.
