Micro-Academies
Deep Dives into Core Components of Leadership
Our Micro-Academies focus intensively on specific aspects of executive and educational leadership”deep dives on single components of leadership skills and knowledge that typically comprise 3“4 full- or half-day sessions throughout the school year.
Each program involves school leaders from a variety of sectors and incorporates application-based professional development and individualized coaching sessions with a Leadership Coach.
Participants include principals, assistant principals, deans of curriculum and instruction, and other school leaders from Massachusetts™ district, charter, Catholic, and independent schools. Participants can receive Professional Development Points (PDPs) towards licensure renewal at no cost through Boston College.
Micro-Academies also serve as a pipeline for participation in our flagship Fellowship program, which empowers school leaders to improve outcomes in under-resourced communities.
