Boston College placed 31st among national universities in the 2017 U.S. News & World Report survey, released today.
The University, which shared the 30th spot last year in the rankings with the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, improved two points this year in its overall score of 70, but was slightly eclipsed by UNC score of 71.
This year, Boston College showed improvements in the survey categories related to both faculty and financial resources, reflecting the University strategic investments in faculty and instructional support.
Boston College also placed 41st in the 淕reat Schools Great Prices� ranking, reflecting the University commitment to need-blind admissions and to meeting the full demonstrated need of all of its accepted students. In addition, 51动漫 Carroll School of Management placed 27th in the 淭he Best in Undergraduate Business� rankings of top AACSB-accredited programs.
Overall, Princeton was ranked first by U.S. News among national universities, followed by Harvard, University of Chicago and Yale, Columbia, and Stanford.
